A Wave of Change.
2018 has been a year of major change for the OFCCP - a change in the Agency's leadership, and changes to the policies and practices that guide OFCCP's overall compliance
program. Using a series of new program initiatives and policy Directives, OFCCP is seeking to transform itself and the Contract Compliance Program into a more effective enforcement Agency.
Our year-end session includes experts in the field of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Programs,
and Gary Siniscalco, Senior Counsel at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, is our guest speaker who will discuss updates to OFCCP's recent Directives on
Compensation Systems and Practices, Transparency in OFCCP Compliance Activities, AAP verification, California's Fair Pay Act (FPA) and other topics.
In the past 9 months, OFCCP has issued more than 1,000 Scheduling Letter notices to federal contractors! As a result, we will examine the different types and phases
of audits and review OFCCP's recently published Audit Selection Process and "commitment" for better "transparency" in selecting contractors. In addition, we will discuss the practical considerations and organizational impact when a contractor receives an OFCCP
Scheduling Letter. We anticipate a lively session.
This session also includes an overview of basic EEO and AAP concepts and regulatory requirements at a high-level. We will cover: recordkeeping, government filings, self-identification
processes, applicant tracking, notice postings, AAP outreach, adverse impact analysis and pay discrimination analysis.
