The EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) is currently closed due to the federal government shutdown. A limited number of EEOC services are available and all EEOC toll-free numbers are not available. Employers who must file EEO-1 Reports for 2018 may use the following resources for 2018 filing information:

The Employer Information EEO-1 report is collected annually under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Employers with 15 or more employees, must keep employment records on workforce demographics and certain employers must file EEO-1 reports on an annual basis. For 2018 EEO-1 filing, the deadline is March 31, 2019, which may change when the shutdown is finally over. However, employers should already have the required data from 4th Quarter 2018 available and ready to file.
Gerstco is OPEN During the Government Shutdown! Employers who use Gerstco’s EEO-1 Services can transmit workforce data files to us NOW using our secure portal. As soon as EEOC opens its 2018 filing portal we will file EEO-1 Reports and send you proof of filing (certified copies). The deadline for submitting EEO-1 data to Gerstco for processing and filing is February 15, 2019.
